Welcome! Your journey begins with an Intimate Wellness Consultation depending on your primary concerns. During your consult your clinician will discuss your concerns and treatment options and determine if Emsella is suitable for you. If so, we’ll schedule your first Emsella treatment for another date.

Your Emsella journey begins with an Intimate Wellness Consultation if you haven’t had one in the past 12 months. This is a brief introduction to the technology and your clinician will explain all the requirements to make sure you’re suitable to continue with treatment that day.
How many treatments will I need?
We will cater your exact treatment plan dependent on the needs and outcome you are after. For optimum results, most people need a course of six sessions, with 2 sessions per week over a period of three weeks. After the initial course maintenance treatments are required to maintain the results.
What does the treatment feel like?
Treatment sessions are 30 minutes long, and the procedure is not deemed painful. You can either bring a friend or family member along to chat to during the treatment or read a book or magazine if you would prefer. During treatment, some patients feel the tensing and relaxing of the pelvic floor muscles.
How long does it take to see the final result?
Results vary between patients with some patients beginning to notice an improvement in their sexual and/or incontinence symptoms as soon as a few days or weeks after their first appointment. On average, patients should expect the optimal effects of EMSELLA treatment to become noticeable about 4 – 6 weeks after a full round of treatment.
Is there any pre treatment preparation or post treatment downtime?
No there isn’t. Emsella has no preparation required, and it is not invasive and there is no recovery time. It can be carried out without the need to remove any clothes.
How long does the treatment last?
How long the effects of your treatment last depend on the severity of your symptoms at the start. Most people will notice a positive effect on symptoms for up to one year.
