Initial Injectable Consultation
FAQs
What is the price of an Initial Injectable Consultation?
We are often asked if we offer free consults. Strictly speaking, the answer is no. However we redeem your consult fee on your injectable treatment, should you decide to go ahead. What that means is you will pay $275 with one of our nursing team (or $550 with Dr Cat) and receive up to an hour of our professional time assessing your needs, explaining the technology and talking you through all your options. This consult fee ($275 or $550) is then deducted from your injectable treatment, should you decide to go ahead.
If you choose to have BotoxⓇ, this can be done during the same appointment. If you choose to have dermal filler, this treatment is a little more complex so we give you time to think it over and make a subsequent appointment for it. In both cases the Initial Injectable Consultation cost is deducted from your BotoxⓇ or filler treatment cost.
If you decide not to go ahead with any treatment at all, you will simply pay the consult cost. That’s totally fine too – our team are not under any sales targets or commissions, and we totally respect your decision to say no. You will still have received valuable information and input during your session, so it’s a win-win whether you choose to be treated or not.
How much do you charge for injectables?
We charge per unit of BotoxⓇ, based on the seniority of our clinicians.
This means so we can tailor the exact results you’re after, and let you choose the price level that suits you. (Rest assured though, at any level our nurses are all highly trained)
Please refer to our pricing page to see all of our pricing.
To give you an idea of units required, here are some averages, although this will always vary based on your personal assessment and strength of your facial muscles. This is a guide only.
Frown line – 10-30 units for women, 20-40 units for men
Crow’s feet – 10-30 units
Masseters – 10-20 units on each side
Underarms (for excessive sweating) – approx 100 units in total
How much do you charge for dermal filler?
We charge per 1ml syringe of dermal filler, and the price varies depending on the type of dermal filler.
Please refer to our pricing page to see all of our pricing.
Once a 1ml syringe is opened it is no longer sterile if it’s not used immediately – therefore we cannot offer less than this amount for hygiene and safety reasons. However, while we never want to overfill (‘less is more’ should be monogrammed on our pillows!), we’re experts at assessing the best places for a little subtle touch-up. For example if 0.6ml was plenty for your lips, we might suggest using the remaining product in another area, so that the entire 1ml was used without waste or without you looking overdone. If there is nowhere else to put it (because you already look amazing), take it as a compliment. At the end of the day, you’re paying for the the skills and experience of your clinician to provide a beautiful, natural-looking result, you don’t want to look worse just to use up product!
What else is included?
Who doesn’t feel better after a bit of a spruce up? We want you to walk out with a spring in your step, so we offer complimentary Jane Iredale mineral makeup application after muscle relaxers (with dermal filler, makeup is not advised until 24 hours afterwards for health reasons). Our front desk team are also a trained ‘glam squad’ so you can rest assured you’ll leave looking great!
While we take our work seriously, we also have fun doing it so chances are you’ll have a fun chat and a bit of a laugh with our team while you’re at it. These moments are some of the best in our day!
