Vampire Facial Plus

Vampire Facial® Plus is our innovative treatment developed at The Face Place. It combines skin needling with Hydrating HA solution (HA). Skin needling has been clinically proven to induce skin rejuvenation with collagen repair.

Skin needling creates tiny micro channels in the skin to allow penetration of the HA into the ideal layer of the skin to maximise your regeneration and repair. The HA boosts and hydrates the skin where it most needs it, improves recovery. Results are more than you see with the individual treatments. Skin becomes clearer, thicker, softer and more luminous.

What's the first step?

You must have a PRP Consultation before proceeding with your first treatment – regardless of if you have had this treatment elsewhere. This ensures you are fully educated and informed before proceeding with treatment. We are a best-practice clinic and consistently deliver optimal results by placing paramount importance on education and informed consent.

Can anyone have the Vampire Facial Plus?

Your skin will have to be prepped with medical-grade skincare, at least 4 weeks prior, BEFORE having the treatment. Once prepped, you will need to have a Consultation, where your skin condition will be assessed. If your skin is not prepped we suggest having a skin assessment with our Medical Skin Therapists. These skin experts will be able to prescribe the appropriate medical-grade skincare to you in order to help get your skin in optimal condition, which will ensure you get the best results from your Vampire Facial Plus treatment.

What type of results should I expect after a Vampire Facial Plus?

Results include reduced pore size, bouncier skin and an improvement of the fine ‘crepey’ skin around the eyes. The improvement is gradual and results are cumulative, so, while people have seen great results with just one treatment, having a course of 3-4 treatments will give you the best outcome.

Does the Vampire Facial Plus cause scabbing?

No. The skin recovers extremely quickly from Needling and HA as we are not damaging the skin, but perforating the capillaries which sit in deeper layers of the skin. The channels created by the skin needling device are healed within the hour because of the extremely fine nature of the needles used. The very essence of Collagen Induction Therapy is not to macerate the skin but to trigger signals to stimulate the growth factor cascade that will eventually lay down new collagen.

What should I expect immediately after the Vampire Facial Plus treatment?

• Skin redness will vary between individuals; it may last around 12-24 hours. As the skin heals, the redness will resolve.

• A small number of people may experience a temporary increase of pigmentation of the skin surface (especially if the skin is not protected from the sun’s rays). This usually resolves over the next few weeks and may be treated with lightening agents.

• Bruising may occur as a result of treatment. It is recommended to stop blood thinning medication such as aspirin, anti-inflammatories, fish oil and green tea, 1 – 2 weeks before treatment.

How many Vampire Facial Plus treatments will I need?

A course of 3-4 treatments over a 4-6 month period, suggesting a top up with a single treatment once or twice a year.

Yes. Vampire Facial Plus is a unique treatment, inspired by the great success The Face Place team was experiencing our treatment that renews and regenerates tissues.
