Some of you may have met her by now, but we want to extend a warm welcome to our lovely new receptionist in Takapuna, Ciara! We sat down with her to get to know her more.
- Tell us about your career to date and what led you to The Face Place…
I have been working as a freelance photographer and videographer for the past 6 years. I’ve been pretty fortunate to have photographed weddings all over New Zealand, the UK and Italy and I’ve made so many wonderful friendships within the industry and my clients. I was ready for a change and was looking for a role in the beauty/wellness space and I loved the story of TFP and everything they stand for; it feels like a perfect fit!
- What excites you about joining The Face Place?
I can’t wait to dive into the world of The Face Place! I have learnt so much already from the team and it’s been such a lovely warm welcome by everyone. I’m loving getting to chat to the Therapists, Nurses and Doctors about all the different treatments and how they take the time to explain the treatments.
- How would you describe yourself is three words?
Friendly, Creative and goofy.
- Tell us about yourself outside of work – interests, hobbies, family?
My latest kick is exploring new walks/hikes on the AllTrails. I love exploring art galleries, visiting new cafes/restaurants with my friends – we’re currently starting a list of the best basque cheesecakes – so if you have some recommendations let me know!
