O-Shot

The O-Shot® has transformed our sex lives in a highly positive way (trust us, we speak from experience!) Back in the old days, female sexual pleasure was a taboo subject. Today we recognise that good sex is an important part of intimacy and has many proven health benefits too.

There are many reasons why people choose to take charge of this area of their health – whether they are post-childbirth, going through menopause or just have a desire to increase intimacy in their relationship (with someone or themselves).

Another major reason to address wellness in this area is to improve bladder leakage, which is very common in women especially after having children.

At The Face Place we recognise that it can be daunting to seek intimate treatments, so we’re here dispel the myths, break the stigma and offer world-class treatment with honest advice and friendly
support.

Our intimate wellness treatments at The Face Place are safe, effective procedures designed to improve your pleasure and wellbeing.

These treatments come under the ‘Vampire’ umbrella, for which Dr Cat is an official trainer. You can read more about our Vampire Academy here.

FAQs

What's the first step?

You must have an initial O-Shot consultation before proceeding with your first treatment – regardless of if you have had this treatment elsewhere. This ensures you are fully educated and informed before proceeding with treatment. We are a best-practice clinic and consistently deliver optimal results by placing paramount importance on education and informed consent.

What can the O-Shot help with?
The O-Shot is a revolutionary approach to restoring the sensations you’ve lost or perhaps never even had.

The O-Shot is an all-natural, well tolerated, non-surgical procedure that can rejuvenate and revitalize vaginal and clitoral function, giving you dramatically improved sensitivity and significantly enhance your sex drive.

The O-Shot is also an effective treatment for stress urinary incontinence, the unintentional ‘leaky bladder’ that can occur during physical activity. Many women lose urine when laughing, coughing, sneezing or exercising. This is caused by a weakening of the sphincter pelvic muscles, often caused in childbirth. The O-Shot stimulates rejuvenation of tissues in the localized region to improve the urethra’s ability to prevent urine flow.

Dr Cat is a global trainer for the Vampire series. We run a quarterly Vampire academy at The Face Place which teaches other nurses and doctors how to perform the Vampire O-Shot, Vampire P-Shot, Vampire Face Lift, Vampire Breast Lift and the Vampire Facial Plus. Learn more about our Vampire treatment training academy here.

Is the O-Shot right for me?
The O-Shot can help women suffering from:

  • Libido
  • Difficulty reaching orgasm
  • Painful sex
  • Leaky bladder
  • Urinary incontinence during physical activity, laughing and/or sneezing

We also offer the ThermiO Package® which is an innovative combination of our signature ThermiVa® and O-Shot® treatments, designed to give maximum results. The ThermiO® Package can help to reclaim, restore and revive feminine wellness and is our most advanced and supercharged treatment for vaginal rejuvenation. This treatment combines one initial O-Shot and three ThermiVa treatments spaced a month apart. Contact our team to find out if the ThermiO® Package is right for you.

When will I see O-Shot results?
Many women experience an improvement in their urinary stress incontinence almost immediately, while an improvement in sensation may take three weeks to six months.
How long do O-Shot results last?
There is a 65% success rate with one treatment, which increases to 85-90% with a second treatment within six months. We recommend planning for two treatments, as even those who have a good result will often opt for a second treatment.

Results can last indefinitely, but some people may require further top-ups.

How long does the O-Shot take?
The procedure takes 60 minutes which includes the consultation, consent and the actual treatment.
Does the O-Shot hurt?
First a numbing cream is applied to the vagina. Then blood is drawn from the arm in the same way as with any blood test.

Using a proprietary technique, the growth factors in platelet-rich plasma (PRP) are extracted from that blood sample and injected into an area near the clitoris and into a the area of the upper vagina that is most important for the sexual response, the O-Spot, using a patent-pending procedure. Because these areas have been numbed with a local anesthetic cream, patients often experience little or no discomfort during the procedure.

What can the O-Shot do for me?
Once the platelet rich plasma (PRP) is injected in to key areas, the regenerative cells begin to rejuvenate the vagina tissue. The result is:

  • Increased sensitivity
  • Improved urine control
What are the possible side effects of the O-shot?
There are usually very few side effects. The most common side effects include temporary sensation changes, swelling and/or bruising.

No specific aftercare is recommended after treatment, other than waiting for the numbing cream to wear off before recommencing sexual activity.
