MD Codes Look Advanced Bangkok:
It was a great privilege to be invited by Allergan to be part of the exclusive group of nurses and doctors from Asia-Pacific countries attending the MD Codes Look Advanced Conference.
I’ve learnt MD Codes many years ago, and it is amazing to see how much it has evolved over the years to provide a more predictable and natural outcome to patients through a holistic and thorough facial assessment. MD codes are an abbreviation for medical codes created by the famous plastic surgeon Dr. Mauricio de Maio after 20 years of studies. MD Codes are one of the most powerful tools injectors have to provide facial rejuvenation with hyaluronic acid fillers. It consist of a series of “codes”, in other words, a mapping of the face with systematic injection points of hyaluronic acid that provides support to the face while the naturality of face is kept.
Dr Mauricio is an inspiration and I loved every single one of his teachings, especially since he is also from Brazil my home country, therefore I can identify a lot with his concepts.
It was also astonishing reiterating the power that the right amount of dermal fillers have to create a more harmonious look, and how it can significantly impact the ageing process by providing results that look to have turned the clock back. We watched as four models were treated with the Juvederm range of dermal fillers, each patient treated with moderate amounts across the facial structure. On completion of their treatment they all looked refreshed, rejuvenated and more youthful but most importantly their results were natural and not over treated leaving all four true to their own facial aesthetic.
